Join our dynamic moving company as a Truck Driver. We are looking for a full time and permanent, hard-working and reliable Truck Driver who can also work as a Packer/Furniture Removalist to join our team in Auckland, the start and finish point location will be in Auckland and will be working throughout New Zealand with floating conditions. Job includes driving, packing, stowing and delivering household, commercial goods and personal effects throughout New Zealand.
Hours of work: Monday – Sunday with rostered shifts
Wage Rate: $30 to $32 per hour
Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours to Maximum 40 hours
Job Responsibilities
- Require lifting heavy objects repeatedly
- Assist in physical task loading and unloading furniture and belongings (residential and commercial) onto the truck.
- Responsible to move furniture and items from one location to another, safely and without damaging it.
- Assist in wrapping the furniture in protective material and use caution while loading, unloading, and driving it.
- Safely transport items to the designated locations
- Your job will also require you to maintain an inventory that tracks all of the items that you’re moving for a customer. It’s essential that this is as accurate as possible, as doing so will ensure that we don’t misplace or forget anything during our move.
- Follow instructions provided by the team leader or supervisor
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
To join us, you will have the following attributes:
- Have at least 1 years of work experience in driving role or hold minimum of Level 2 qualification in driving or higher.
- Should have valid Class 2 driving license and able to drive automatic and manual transmission
- Should have available for weekends
