As a Truck Driver with BZ Trans Inc., you will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Additional duties include inspecting vehicle conditions, performing routine maintenance, adjusting routes based on changing conditions, and providing excellent customer service. We offer training for those with no prior experience, and relocation costs will be covered if applicable.
Full Job Description
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Professionalism in customer service
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
