Our Opportunity
Located at our Quality Bakers Site in Auckland, the Technical Cleaner is an integral member of the Engineering team. The incumbent is responsible for providing a safe and reliable plant and for ensuring the plant and facilities meet appropriate standards of cleanliness. Full Training will be given.

The shift patterns available are:
Sunday to Thursday day shifts. (40 hours p/w)
Pay rate is $28 p/h

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Ensure machinery and plant is maintained to a high degree of cleanliness
  • Keep timely and accurate records of all cleaning and sanitation activity
  • Assist in preparing site when required for external and regulatory audits
  • Contribute to and help embed the development of cleaning maintenance processes
  • Assist the manufacturing team on any cleaning issues
  • Ensure any issue are communicated to the Multi Skilled Engineer or Engineering Manager

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Works well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • A willingness to occasionally work in confined spaces
  • It is beneficial to have processing and operating plant and equipment experience
