Site Engineer Jobs in Australia About The Role
You will be hands on in project delivery, liaising directly with client representatives, managing contractors, and ensuring engineering compliance. If you are passionate about infrastructure and thrive in a collaborative high performing environment, we want to hear from you.
- Deliver roadworks projects in line with Road Asset Maintenance Contract Project Management Plans
- Lead two week lookahead and long-term project planning
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
- Procurement and resource management, contractor claims and cost reporting
- Liaise with TMR, subcontractors and community stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement through audits and NCR/OFI processes
- Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of excellence
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- Current drivers licence and construction white card
- Experience in road works and pavement construction
- Understanding and experience with TMR standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (and Civil Pro – preferred)
- Experience with Quality Management processes (LOT, NCR, RFI)
- A proactive, solutions focused mindset with a commitment to safety and innovation
