As a Housekeeping Attendant, you are responsible for cleaning guest rooms, suites, and/or public areas assigned by your supervisor in a timely and thorough manner to ensure total guest satisfaction

Housekeeping jobs duties

The Housekeeping jobs have the following duties:

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc.
• This may include cleaning the kitchen area, room refrigerator, coffee maker, cups, glasses, silverware, etc
• Notify the supervisor when service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied.
• Report any room unable to be serviced to the supervisor according to established procedures.
• Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Respond to guest complaints, and special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
• Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures
• May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.

Housekeeping jobs requirements

• Similar experience in a luxury hotel.
• A business-related degree or equivalent.
• Experience in effective learning and development methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent command of written and spoken English & Arabic.
• Additional language is an added advantage.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Result-oriented and self-motivated along with a positive attitude.
