Our program offers an opportunity to be part of Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk’s Housekeeping department in a position for a period of 12 to 18 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level Housekeeping individual to learn and grow their careers in one of Dubai’s most iconic hotel. Be a part of the Housekeeping team that is focused on driving successful business results. Moreover This individual will be responsible many functions in a fast paced Housekeeping team. Additionally, they will support and learn all Housekeeping functions within the department. This will help them gain unparalleled experience to equip them for a bright future in human resources upon completion of their program.
What You Will Be Doing
- Moreover Manage and supervise all tasks of his/her staff
- Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, guest room balconies, guest corridors, linen rooms and housekeeping pantries according to set standards and procedures
- Supervise public areas
- Moreover Ensure that guest supplies are replenished
- Ensure guests’ requests are promptly and courteously met
- Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms using P.M.S system
- Moreover Maintain equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repair
- Maintain a section floor report
- Conduct daily briefings with staff at floor level
- Moreover Conduct regular room checklists
- Report unusual behavior/activities on floors to Assistant Housekeeping Manager
- Record room status in allocated section accurately
- Comply with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policies
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Moreover Fully understand the difference in guest levels (VIP) and in room categories
Housekeeping Attendant Jobs Qualifications
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
- Moreover Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Moreover Must have good leadership skills and training skills
- Full time commitment to a 5* Luxury setting
