• As an Orchard Worker for Blueberry Country Ngatia, you will be responsible for assisting the Orchard Manager in the operational aspects of the Orchard.
• you will be responsible for assisting with maintaining the orchard operations, carrying out skilled orchard tasks.
• Assisting with the supervising of contract groups for planting, pruning and other activities.
• Carry out skilled orchard tasks, including, spraying, mowing, planting and supervision of other orchard staff.
• Assist the Orchard Manager with fresh fruit operations (picker inductions, picking blocks, guiding supervisors, and machine harvesters).
• Set a good example for staff.
• Assist with the planning and organizing of the planting and replanting of the orchard.
