ANID is seeking a highly skilled Factory Supervisor with expertise in joinery and fit-out projects to oversee production processes in the factory. The role involves managing the daily operations, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining efficiency in the manufacturing of joinery and fit-out products. The ideal candidate will have experience in factory supervision, particularly in joinery or fit-out sectors, and a strong understanding of production workflows and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise daily factory operations, ensuring that all joinery and fit-out production tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Manage and schedule workforce assignments to ensure efficient use of resources and timely project delivery.
• Maintain effective communication with the project management team to align production schedules with project timelines.

Quality Control:

• Monitor the quality of finished products to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any issues in production.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards in all production activities.

Team Management:

• Supervise factory workers and provide guidance and training as necessary.
• Resolve any labor-related issues, ensuring a productive and safe working environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.

Inventory and Materials Management:

• Ensure that all materials required for production are available and stored correctly.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
• Track inventory levels and order materials as needed to avoid project delays.

Maintenance and Equipment:

• Oversee the maintenance of factory equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Report any malfunctions or needed repairs and coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.

Reporting:

• Provide regular updates on production progress, issues, and potential delays to management.
• Prepare reports on factory performance, including production output, quality control results, and workforce efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Factory Supervisor in the joinery and fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of joinery production processes, machinery, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills for effective coordination with project managers, suppliers, and the workforce.
