Full Job Description
Do you like getting out and about, have great knowledge of suburbs within Auckland and are comfortable driving a van? We would LOVE to hear from you! The team at New Zealand Couriers are looking for reliable, go-getters to join our delivery team for the Auckland region. This is an opportunity to learn and have exposure to the role of a Courier Driver. Our focus is to develop a pool of relief courier drivers to help support contractors cover their runs in the event of emergency and planned absence.
The Role Includes:
- Relief driving to assist contractors with planned and emergency leave within the Auckland Region.
- Assisting Auckland contractors and branches who require immediate or urgent delivery assistance.
- Provide general operational support
- Provide assistance to the Auckland Courier training team
The Ideal Applicant Will:
- Have a can-do attitude – ready to help out
- Be able to confidently drive any type of van – both automatic and manual transmission.
- Have a clean, full driver’s license.
- Be physically fit – some heavy lifting may be required (up to 25kg)
- Be a quick learner, with the ability to adapt to fast paced courier runs.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
