Cleaner Jobs in New Zealand. Metlifecare is looking for a dedicated and experienced Cleaner to join our team at a brand-new facility in Hobsonville, Auckland. This part-time position offers 12 hours per week, with shifts spread over three days (Sunday, Monday, and Friday), and can be scheduled either in the early morning or evening, depending on your availability. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the village sparkling clean, maintaining health and safety standards, and working independently while interacting with residents and staff. Ideal candidates will take pride in their work, have cleaning experience, and possess empathy and patience when providing exceptional service to older residents. Full Job Description
Our friendly team are seeking an experienced Cleaner to join them on a part time basis, keeping our village ‘sparkling’ and taking pride in making their place of work ‘gleam’ with cleanliness.
- Experience with cleaning
- Have a positive outlook and be open to learning
- Empathy, patience and willingness to deliver an outstanding service for our residents
- You’ll work unsupervised and be a strong team player
- You’ll have empathy for the older person – this is key
- Be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal)
