Caregiver Jobs Full Description

That’s why we are seeking like-minded Caregivers to join our Hugh Green Care Home in Albany, North Auckland. You will help us rise to the challenges of enriching the lives of society’s most vulnerable. We have a few permanent part-time positions, you will be required to work Monday through Sunday (AM and PM shifts only) on a rotating roster.
- Role 1: 112 total hours over a 6-week cycle (7AM – 11AM & 4.45PM – 8.45PM). This is an average of 18 hours per week.
- Role 2: 133 total hours over a 6-week cycle (7AM – 1PM & 4.45PM – 8.45PM). This is an average of 22 hours per week.
- Role 3: 126 total hours over a 6-week cycle (7AM – 1PM & 4PM – 10PM). This is an average of 21 hours per week.
- Role 4: 133 total hours over a 6-week cycle (7AM – 1PM & 4PM – 8.30PM). This is an average of 22 hours per week.
As a Caregiver at Bupa, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management, to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will encouraged to develop deeper relationships with residents and their families, delivering the highest quality person first care to residents in line with their individual care plan.
Where You Will Make An Impact
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living, whilst treating residents with respect and dignity.
- Mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans.
- Maintain accurate health care documentation as required.
- Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities.
- Contribute to the development of a positive, safe, home environment for residents, visitors, and the wider team.
What About You
- An NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 is preferred.
- Ideally you will have a minimum of 1 year of experience within aged care.
- Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm, dedication to care, and passion for enriching the lives of the elderly.
- Confident communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Applicants must legally entitled to work in NZ.
