Job responsibilities
- To carryout daily vehicle inspections encompassing mechanical, safety and emergency equipment
- To ensure Road User Charges (RUC), Registration, service and COF are up to date
- To complete logbook accurately and in a timely manner
- To ensure all loads are secured appropriately
- To always travel within speed limits having consideration for road conditions, other road users, weather, cargo, signage, and the environment
- To report any traffic infringements immediately to your manager
- To report any incidents, damage or accidents immediately as per company requirements
- To competently care for equipment ensuring truck is kept clean and well- presented Road maintenance & Construction Activities
Job Prerequisites
- Reliable and punctual
- International/overseas license is acceptable
- Forklift license/Osh DG license is an advantage
- Coved vaccination pass
- Drug and alcohol test clearance is compulsory
- Clean history with no demerits on the license
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Physical strength, stamina, and dexterity
- Knowledge of all the applicable health and safety standards is an advantage, training will be provided.
