Full job description
As an Order Picker/Packer for our transport company, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing orders for shipment. moreover Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive their products promptly and in perfect condition. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and logistics teams to maintain efficient and organized operations, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order sheets or digital systems, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are selected.
- Safely and efficiently pack picked items into appropriate containers or boxes, ensuring that products are protected during transport.
- Correctly label all packed orders with necessary shipping information, including customer details, tracking numbers, and any special handling instructions.
- Inspect items during the picking and packing process to ensure they meet quality standards, reporting any damaged or defective products.
- Collaborate with the shipping department to ensure that orders are ready for dispatch on time and that they are loaded onto the correct vehicles.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow instructions and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
